Why this Blog?
Read my blog or read my short stories (so much better than where I am today!). Get to know me. The lady who was always underestimated but always relied on. I have an amazing support system and an amazing story. Right now is just right now. But me… I’ve got a lot to say. I hope you enjoy the journey as much as I have and do.

Today – I’m slaying life – with a little delay.
My firstborn was about to graduate. I had a new outfit, afternoon off, and a set of Callaway clubs ready for my golf league debut. My career was humming, my family was thriving, and I was fully in my “don’t mess with me, I’ve earned this” era.
Then, out of nowhere…
I couldn’t move the right side of my body.
One minute I was lacing up for a tee-off. The next, I was trying to stand — and failing.
Cue the whirlwind: doctors, scans, symptoms stacking up like unread emails. And just like that, my steady rhythm cracked wide open.
This wasn’t supposed to be a health blog.
It still might not be.
But when life changes without asking permission, you start documenting — not for drama, but for clarity, connection, and maybe a little control.
💡 What You’ll Find Here
This site is part journal, part survival kit, part smart-ass pep talk.
It’s how I process, how I track, and how I stay me — even when the mirror starts showing someone a little more tired and a lot more fierce.
Inside you’ll find:
- Grit & Glitter: The raw truth — symptoms, scans, fears, and fire
- Glow-Up Gadgets: The tools and tech helping me function (and sometimes flourish)
- Weekly Recaps: What worked, what wrecked me, what I’m still figuring out
- Sass & Sparkle: The lighter moments — because we need the laugh breaks
⚡️ Why “We Conquer As One”?
Because I’m not doing this alone.
And I know I’m not the only one quietly holding it all together.
Whether this becomes a full comeback story or just a weird, painful detour in a beautiful life — I’m documenting it in real time. For me. For my kids. For the people who care. And for anyone else who needs to see what it looks like when someone refuses to disappear.
